Introduction to the IndexThese books have been microfilmed by The Columbine Genealogical and Historical Society, Inc., in order to provide a permanent record of the original books, in the event the original books should be destroyed; and also to make the information more readily available to researchers. There are seven books of records recorded on this roll of film. Numbers in the first column refer to the book number; numbers in the second column refer to the page number; the third column is the surname of the deceased and the fourth column is the given or Christian name of the deceased.Occasionally there is doubt as to the proper spelling of a name, when that occurs the name will appear on the list with more than one spelling, for example: BINGMAN, BINGAMAN. Names are not listed in exact alphabetical order, therefore, in searching for a particular name look precisely before and after its alphabetical location.Members of the Society are grateful to Mr. Robert Drinkwine, Drinkwine Mortuary, 999 West Littleton Boulevard, Littleton, Colorado, 80120, for allowing us to microfilm their records. The original books are to be found at their Mortuary. The roll of microfilmed records may be read at the: Edwin A. Bemis Public Library, 6014 South Datura Street, Littleton, Colorado, 80120, in the downstairs reference Room.9 November 1976
