One of the objectives of Columbine Genealogical and Historical Society is to locate, preserve and index public and private genealogical and historical records and to make such available to members and the public. Ann Lisa Pearson, president of the society in 1999-2000, established a committee to accomplish this objective.

G. Diane Adams and Joan Bautsch McGrane, project co-leaders, organized the project and with the help of the following society members contributed many hours and effort to the completion of the project, by doing computer input, editing and proofreading. Donald R. Elliott formatted the book as well as giving support to the co-leaders. Editing and structure of the book’s front section was done by G. Diane Adams and Mary H. Schreck.

We are indebted to John Houser, superintendent of the cemetery, who was a tremendous help in providing records and answering questions all with utmost patience.
